Protest People

It is good to see folks expressing how they feel about things.

It is good to be American!

Folks waiting on Mr. Bush in Denver wanted to show they are feeling the pain of being deceived.

Our Government is for the people by the people. Protest is a way to make your vote count and not make matters worse!

Great pic! I wish I were braver about my political stances. (But I fear being tarred & feathered here in SE TN.. ;o)
I saw a huge anti-Bush sign in Blue Ridge, GA & was pleasantly surprised!

Awesome! Absolutely!

Who the hell do we think we are? Going in a deposing sadistic fascist dictators, and ensuring freedom and democracy for millions! We don't need peace and stability in the Middle East, not unless we can get it in less than two months and no US military have to die! Why, they are just little brown people not worthy of our attention! Saddam had the right idea for the troublemakers. To the shredders with all of 'em! Amen!

Sad, Sad! We don't need to be the world's police, Anonymous. We were lied to about why we went to war with Iraq. We are being led by a man who refuses to listen to the people of his country he is supposed to be representing. There were other ways of removing Saddam from power than going to war and destroying the country of Iraq. There is more unrest in Iraq now than there was previous to our occupation. We are failing miserably because the Chimperor believes he is on a mission from God. His narcissism is not going to force a completely different culture to accept our practices, embrace capitalism, and start shopping at "The Wal-Mart". We need to stop killing our countrymen and theirs. Humanitarianism, yes. War and destruction, no. By the way Anonymous, where are those WMD's and where's Osama?

Now you and I Pretty Mtn Grl know that guy is just ignorant..or maybe stupid.. the difference we don't know. You tried to educate. That's the best any of us can do. You did real good. Tolerance of stupidity is just really hard to deal with. Why they stopped by this blog is a big question to me. Come on by mine!

Wheel-Doggies we got a little skirmish in the comments box I see!

It is great to have the ability to express our perspectives/feelings here in America and I am thankful for thoes who made it possible.

I think it is wonderful our country wants to help settle other places from their strife. My observations of the weakness we are suffering here at home due to trying to help hurt my soul. I always put things in the small scale so I can understand.

If I get sick and run out of money I am not in much of a place to help my neighbors out. It seems as if we are not in a good place at this time to cure a thousand years of unrest in the middle east. I also know there are other countries who need help and who ask for help daily from us and get very little. There are reforms needed here too for healing our own changing economic base.

It is a complicated batch of events we are witness to at this point. I hope our leadership has a magic hat they are going pull something out of to make matters better.

Thanks for the conversation guys! I guess we just have to have faith our leaders are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. I also hope the greed of power does not corrupt them too badly.

The greed is what worries this simple writers witness as it is a temptation that is hard to manage for any human.

Our ponder food for the day:
Does it take a fascist to fight a facsist?
